Yes this is true, the charges of “chrome web store” to publish an extension is just 5$ but this news is really shocking for the full time chrome extension developers.
Now think about POSTMAN- definitely a big loss, API CLIENTs and other useful extensions which are daily life necessities.
We can’t say anything, it’s Sundar’s decision, happening bad may be something coming good.
Let’s stick to our extension, so as you can see publishing this extension there won’t work, but there is always a workaround. So lets see how to add this to our browser.
First – Download this file: from here
Second– open your chrome and type chrome://extensions
Third: check the “Developer mode” check box on top right corner
Fourth: click “Load unpacked exntension…”
Fifth: select the downloaded folder and press OK.
and it’s DONE !!
