What is Fog computing ?
According to Mung Chiang: “fog provides the missing link for what data needs to be pushed to the cloud, and what can be analysed locally, at the edge.”
In simple terms, fog computing is a distributed network fabric that stretches from the outer edges of data creation to the point of storage.
Fog computing is a decentralised computing infrastructure or process in which computing resources are located between the data source and the cloud or any other data centre.
Fog computing is the physical location of the devices, which are much closer to the users than the cloud servers.
